1. Download and install Aniosoft Smart Backup.

2. Before you connect your iPod to computer, close iTunes first (if opened) and open Aniosoft Smart Backup (click OK in the pop-up dialog).



As said hereabove, Aniosoft Smart Backup protects your iPod against unwanted detections and synchronizations of your iPod with an empty or incomplete iTunes library. Therefore, once Aniosoft Smart Backup is open, you can safely connect your iPod to your computer.

3. After plugging in your iPod, Aniosoft Smart Backup will detect your iPod info and display on the screen.
By default, your files will be backed up to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\My Music\Aniosoft Smart Backup\music. See if your hard disk capacity is adequate. If not, select a new folder by clicking the “” button on the top-right of the programme window(See photo).


Then all you need to do is to click the “Start Smart Backup” button on the skin and select copy rules. It will automatically start to backup.

4. Successfully! Your songs/movies have been transferred to PC!
