Default Ethiopia-

I had the fortune, or misfortune i should say,of having to train 12 Ethiopian maintenance staff on the Siemens S7-300 and Simatic software. Their english was and still is very poor, not to mention their grasp of automation concepts. The place was Harar Brewery, Harar, Ethiopia. The only hotel had no running water between 06H00 and 21h00 hrs,and I had to spend 6 weeks on end in the place.
I have photographs of fish-eagles and vultures in the hotel back gardens, not to mention the fact that wild heyenas took a piece of raw meat off my knee, in front of the hotel entrance.
Bloody interesting place, but not for current technology.
