Default JENSEN A432HLX needs repair

Hello,

I intend to repair a car audio power amplifier. This will become a
great job since a lot of problems exist. First some power stages are
completely shorted (on load the device takes a current above 30A) and
the device starts smoking.

Second the amplifier needs a complete service due to noise and hum
during playback. A lot of damage exists in the device.

Can anyone help with a schematic of the JENSEN A432HLX ? This might
be a good start to begin. It will help a lot for tracing the signal
by using a scoop.

Thanks a lot

I doubt it is worth repair , as the transistors will probably cost as a new
unit , if is only a power amp .

I worked in sterio repair 2 years , and we never repaired car power amps ,
due to the cost of the output transistors .

Plus, the fact that it's a Jensen makes the amp almost totally worthless of any
kind of repair effort. - Reinhart
