Monsam-Serial comms

Hi There. I am from sunny old Cape Town.Born and Bred. Started my automation life with Siemens S5.Since then have programmed virtually all major PLC's.Currently working on a small S7-200 project. Driving a thermal printer through serial comms have me pulling out my hair.I thought S5 is dead and buried? But alas, once i get it going i will never forget.There is some advantages in growing up with the elephants.
