Default SoftLogix5800,1794 FlexIO timeout

I have setup a 1789-L60/A SoftLogix 5860 Controller in a SoftLogix 5800 Chassis Monitor with RSLinx Classic and an Ethernet/IP module (192.168.1.25) in the Chassis Monitor.

I able to communicate to a 1794 FlexIO AENT/A Flex Ethernet Module (192.168.1.28) with 4 IO modules attached to it:

1794-OA16
1794-IA16
1794-OW8
1794-IB16XOB16P/A

I am using RSLogix 5000 ver 15 and there is no problem with communications between the processor and the 1794 AENT module, but the IO modules are timing out with error Code 16#0203.

I have all the Firmware revisions matching in RSLogix as indicated by Module Identity Match on the Module Info tab, but I'm struggling to figure out why the timeout. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Code 16#0203 is communications time out

I am not familiar with the softlogix kit but normally communications problems with Logix kit on Ethernet is down to RPI rate set during hardware configuration. The default setting is 5ms which tends to swamp the network.
In RSLogix 5000 check each Ethernet connected piece of hardware by right clicking and selecting properties, then select connection tab. The RPI rate can then be set to a more network friendly figure, try 100ms or if the system can stand it 250ms

Thanks for the reply...

I tried to change the RPI to 250ms, but it doesn't change the error. Still Code 16#0203. Is there some config on the controller end or RSLinx that I can't find, which needs to match the IO RPI?

When I first set this up, the AENT also had the same error, until I changed the Electronic Keying to Compatible Keying, but that doesn't seem to help with the IO modules. I've tried Compatible, Exact Match, and Disabled on the IO modules, but no effect on the comm error.

Thanks again... I've been pulling my hair out over this...

I've got it all communicating now. As it turns out, the Windows XP SP2 firewall is causing issues...

16#0203 16#0010 connecting reconnecting.

Thanks for your help.
